WELCOME

Modern science and especially biology has far surpassed watching apples fall and grass grow.  We humans have the opportunity to change our code of creation.  We can alter what was once considered untouchable about what makes us who we are.  We have the new capability to go back in time and see what was alive in the past and is not now by looking at very small and invisible fossils. These fossils are the genetic code left in the DNA of everything that we can "dig up" and study.  But how did this all start? What can we do with this information now? And should we even have this power in our hands?  How far is too far when conducting science like this?  All will be answered in a few short minutes with an exploration on comparative genomics.  So let's dig together!

Let's take a journey into the heart of modern biology!
